I want to talk bloons with you. Yes poptastic blow them up and pop them bloons.
No it’s not a typo it is called bloons…….well bloons tower defense to give it its full name, Now if you have not heard of this then you are missing out.
BTD was initially developed as a browser game built upon the Adobe Flash platform but in later games was made available as an iOS app for the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and for devices operating on Google’s Android OS. All well and good but I want to talk about BTD5D (bloons tower defense 5 deluxe).
BTD is currently a free to play online game produced and created by Ninja Kiwi. The aim simply is to pop all bloons which travel on a set route for each map. To pop them you have many monkeys at you disposal all of which can be upgraded one of two ways. Each popped bloon gives you money to buy these upgrades. As always you have a way of making your bloon life easier. How? ..well Premium upgrades.
Yes buy your way through with your hard-earned sterling.
You still need to play through the game before even some of the Premium content can be brought. (how clever) Ninja Kiwi have had 5 shots at goal with BTD and number 5 being the best so far. With it being a free game to play how can they top it. Well they can’t can they……..On May 31 Ninja Kiwi revealed that a new and improved version of BTD5 was underway BTD5D.
Maybe they can? Let’s see.
BTD5D is not free to play you pay $20, or $25. You pay the $20 if you pre-order before the 16/7/2012.Not so good then why pay for what you can get it for free right? Wrong. You pay for the better graphics more maps, new Special Missions, Special Agents and even two new never-before-seen towers in addition to the current content available for free. I hate paying for things especially when I can get them for free. Is it a must have? Well I brought it but I don’t get a shiny box to put on my desk because it’s a download only but well worth the sterling.
