Yesterday, Square Enix announced their new title to the Final Fantasy franchise, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, a fully redeveloped, rebuilt massively multiplayer online game from the ground up focusing on the theme of rebirth in an all new universe and storyline. Naoki Yoshida, Producer/Director of Final Fantasy XIV said,
“Since announcing our plans for the future of the title last October, we have been working tirelessly to include all of the elements that we have promised in FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, which we announced today. This new title not only becomes a symbol of a completely new FINAL FANTASY XIV, but also marks the beginning of a new stage as the latest title in the FINAL FANTASY series. I hope you’re looking forward to it!”

The graphics shown in the trailer below are mind blowing, but I suppose I expect nothing less from Square Enix. They have always been one of the best, in my opinion, when it comes to visually stunning graphics. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be available for both PC and PlayStation 3. No release date has been mentioned. So stay tuned!
